The Restaurant General Manager is the key leader responsible for driving the success of a single restaurant location. Reporting to the District Manager, this role oversees the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient labor management, and adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Profitability: Manage the restaurant's P&L, driving sales growth through proactive guest service, people development, and operations excellence.
- Guest Experience: Motivate team members to deliver accurate, friendly, and fast service in a clean facility, addressing guest issues promptly and resolving problems through effective feedback systems.
- People: Lead recruitment and selection, onboarding new team members, and inspiring the restaurant team through effective recognition programs, providing coaching and feedback to enhance capabilities and performance.
- Operations: Manage labor, enforce compliance with regulations and company policies, and ensure the restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of college preferred.
- 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
- Ability to prioritize work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of guest service principles.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.
