We are seeking a skilled Telehealth Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care through the use of advanced monitoring equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic bedside care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays to inform patient care decisions.
- Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team to ensure prompt intervention.
- Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology, prioritizing patient safety.
Requirements:
- Current ACLS, NIH, and BLS certifications.
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional bending, leaning, and stooping.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
