We seek an experienced Senior Thermal Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, California. This role will involve working closely with the Electrical design and hardware validation teams to ensure fulfillment of overall system requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing thermal design related issues on different projects and shaping thermal strategy for future products. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing thermal cooling strategies for next-generation, high-performance switching products
  • Performing complete thermal analysis and design using Icepak
  • Supporting thermal analysis requests from hardware team, product management team and other cross functional teams

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong background in thermal design and analysis of electronic appliances. A minimum of 5 years of direct professional experience in thermal design and analysis is required. Experience with high power SoC liquid cooling thermal models and system-level analysis is also essential.

The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $185,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, Arista offers a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection.
