Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and operating shuttle buses in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of bus interiors
  • Log trip counts and assist disabled passengers
  • Be at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform
  • Have and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and an acceptable DMV record
  • Courteously assist customers and direct them to the Facility Manager if necessary
  • Report any known accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other issues to the garage office
  • Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when necessary and authorized
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area
  • Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable
  • Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed
Requirements
  • Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid state driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record
  • Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required
  • Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and/or weekends, may be required
