Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and organize cooking stations with all essential supplies.
  • Execute food preparation tasks such as chopping, butchering, and sauce creation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to cook menu items efficiently.
Essential Job Requirements
  • Set up and maintain cooking stations with necessary ingredients and tools.
  • Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables and butchering meat.
  • Cook menu items in conjunction with the kitchen team.
  • Follow the chef's directives and report any issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and manage leftovers in accordance with HAACP guidelines.
  • Ensure the kitchen is cleaned according to established protocols during shift changes.
  • Accurately manage inventory levels.
  • Guarantee that food is served simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timeliness.
  • Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Foster a positive and professional demeanor with colleagues and customers.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in cooking, particularly as a line chef.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to execute tasks with precision and speed.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience and Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Adherence to all food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with food safety certifications.
