Job Summary

Goshen Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care services in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in providing patient care services in an efficient and customer service-oriented manner.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and their families, physicians, and hospital associates.
  • Provide service appropriate to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Perform various administrative and clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited career/vocational school with a medical assisting degree, certificate, or diploma, or completion of basic or advanced EMT or Paramedic course.
  • Hold active CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification or pass exam given by any credentialing agency for medical assistants, or hold an active EMT or Paramedic Certification.
  • Must maintain license, certification, and/or credentials in good status to perform required job duties.
  • American Heart Association CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years of experience in a physician office setting.
  • Current license as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) issued by the Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
