We are seeking an experienced Automation / PLC Programmer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in enhancing our automation systems and ensuring operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Control Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and on-call duties
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in automation integration and programming
  • At least 3 years of experience in oil field process facilities

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the commissioning of facilities with a focus on automation control systems
  • Maintain project timelines and provide regular status updates
  • Utilize expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to offer innovative solutions
  • Develop and validate automation programs in accordance with engineering documentation
  • Utilize various software tools for PLC programming and HMI development
  • Complete necessary documentation to support as-built conditions post-commissioning
  • Adhere to company standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide training and support to operations staff on automation systems
  • Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance of low voltage devices
  • Ensure compliance with alarm management protocols
  • Collaborate with asset teams to communicate project progress
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and a commitment to safety
