Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government, industry, and customer-centric safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and evaluate loss-producing potential.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data related to occupational injuries, illnesses, and accidents.
  • Prepare and maintain safety-related records and reports.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical utility field.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State work safety laws and regulations, OSHA Construction standards, Distribution Lines, Transmission Lines, and Substations.
  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, training, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
