General Information:

The Incoming Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for the meticulous inspection of all incoming materials and labels, ensuring adherence to all relevant customer and regulatory standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with strong mathematical skills; college coursework is a plus.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in quality inspection or related technical fields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of all incoming materials using customer specifications and certified testing equipment.
  • Process incoming labels in our system and perform inspections using established standards.
  • Document and maintain inspection results in the appropriate databases.
  • Execute form, fit, and function testing on new materials.
  • Manage transactions in our system to ensure proper handling of materials during inspection.
  • Uphold customer inspection standards and create label standards to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate quality alerts to management and fellow inspectors.
  • Place non-compliant materials on hold for further review.
  • Utilize our system to troubleshoot quality issues and manage non-conforming materials.
  • Perform AQL inspections as necessary.
  • Engage with management and suppliers regarding quality concerns.
  • Conduct all work in alignment with the company's quality system and FDA regulations, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to and promote safety and environmental policies.
  • Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding customer information and quality records.
  • Exhibit regular attendance and flexibility to work overtime as required.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
