Job Title: Contract Manufacturing Quality Manager

Patco Brands is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manufacturing Quality Manager to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety in our contract manufacturing operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and investigate quality issues at contract manufacturers, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits at contract manufacturing sites, and provide detailed reports to management.
  • Develop and implement quality agreements with contract manufacturers, and ensure compliance with Patco Brands' quality policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve overall quality performance.
  • Provide training and support to contract manufacturers on quality and food safety best practices.
  • Manage quality-related KPIs and metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA management, food safety, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with contract manufacturers and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, depending on project and contract manufacturing site needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in food safety auditing, HACCP, SQF practitioner, PCQI, and other relevant quality and food safety certifications.
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety and quality systems, quality auditing procedures, and FDA and TTB food safety and quality regulations.
  • Ability to lead and communicate quality policies and procedures with contract manufacturers.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, with a team mindset.
