Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Brandon, FL. As a member of our imaging services department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
About the RoleThis is a part-time/full-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed opportunity for a Florida-licensed Radiologic Technologist with experience in CT scanning and imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating advanced imaging equipment, including CT scanners, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Selecting proper technical factors for studies and performing diagnostic CT examinations accurately
- Demonstrating operational knowledge of CT scanners, pressure injectors, resuscitation equipment, laser filmers, and teleradiology systems
- Assisting in the administration of contrast media and related procedures
- Preparing, transferring, and positioning patients while ensuring modesty and safety
- Documenting clinical information, obtaining informed consent, and completing required fields within MEDITECH
- Obtaining high-quality CT images and submitting them for interpretation
- Maintaining proficiency in software protocols and staying up-to-date with changes in the field through in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary
To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus college/technical training
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting patients/equipment up to 100 lbs.
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
