Job Title: Adjunct Faculty - Environmental Studies

Augsburg University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach the course "Environmental Connections" in the Environmental Studies program. This interdisciplinary course serves as an introduction to current environmental issues, grounded in ecological perspectives of the world. It explores the interconnections between human communities and physical environments, drawing insights from various fields such as political science, biology, economics, literature, sociology, chemistry, and history.

The course emphasizes experiential education and service-learning, where students engage with real-world environmental challenges that affect their daily lives and contribute to a campus project, bridging theory with practical application. Candidates with a Ph.D. or Masters degree in Environmental Studies or a related field are preferred. Late-career graduate students with relevant expertise will also be considered.
