Job Responsibilities
- Support nursing staff by executing essential care tasks that promote the comfort and well-being of patients.
- Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, and monitoring vital signs.
- Respond to patient needs, including assistance with mobility, toileting, and other daily activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document and report any changes in patient conditions to the nursing team.
- Administer medications as prescribed and keep accurate records of administration.
- Perform additional duties as required by the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certification as a Nurse Assistant or Home Health Aide as mandated by state regulations.
- Completion of an accredited training program or possess a minimum of six months of relevant experience.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
