Job Title: Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at Healthy Kids Programs. As a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young students.

Job Summary:

The Pre-Kindergarten Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our four-year-old students. You will design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to ensure our students meet their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement a comprehensive Pre-Kindergarten program that meets the needs of diverse learners.
  • Develop and teach engaging lessons that promote early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Assess student progress, track development, and provide timely feedback to parents and staff.
  • Use positive guidance strategies to promote social-emotional learning and classroom behavior.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, families, and the community through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements:
  • Current New York State teaching certificate valid for service in the early childhood grades.
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
  • Experience teaching preschool-age children.
  • Ability to pass a full background check, including fingerprinting, NYS child abuse clearance, physical, and TB test.
