**Job Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the Mechanical Inspectors and the CMM Programmers in a mechanical inspection lab to ensure accurate and efficient inspection processes.
  • Develop and implement quality procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Train colleagues on quality procedures and document systems to ensure a high level of understanding and adherence.
  • Monitor operations and ensure adherence to quality procedures, identifying and resolving quality issues and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously enhance quality systems through reviews and corrective actions to ensure ongoing improvement and excellence.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with quality assurance or quality control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency with computerized quality management systems, CMM's, and mechanical inspection tools.
  • Knowledge of quality principles and ability to use tools like digital calipers, mics, depth gauges, and other standard inspection tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
