Position Overview
As an Automotive Body Technician, you will play a vital role in our operations, directly impacting our success. If you have a passion for vehicle repair and are looking for a supportive environment that promotes professional growth, you may find a rewarding career with us.
This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, continuing education opportunities, paid holidays, life insurance, a volunteer program, ongoing training, and a 401(k) plan with company matching. The Automotive Body Technician will report to the Collision Center Manager, and compensation will be based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Restore vehicles to their original condition, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Utilize hand and power tools to repair or replace damaged components.
- Execute tasks outlined in repair orders with precision and efficiency.
- Work with various materials, including metals, plastics, glass, and mechanical parts.
- Install new parts accurately.
- Perform welding as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols in the workplace.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of experience in automotive collision repair.
- ICAR or ASE certification in auto body repair is preferred.
- Possession of personal tools.
- Ability to interpret and follow repair order instructions.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- A strong passion for vehicle repair.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- A commitment to continuous learning.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
