Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager RN to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents and ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing units.

Responsibilities
  • Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Liberty Senior Living policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality resident care
  • Monitor and report on resident outcomes and quality of care
  • Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including coaching and mentoring
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as admissions and social services, to ensure seamless resident care
Requirements
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with 3 years' supervisory experience in ACH, CRCF, or Skilled Care
  • Must be qualified as Supervisor-in-Charge based on the ACH/Skilled rules of the State of practice
  • Must have experience working with geriatric and dementia residents
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
  • Must be able to read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Community policies and procedures
