We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at NavitsPartners. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Director of Nursing by delivering high-quality nursing care and overseeing the operations of the assigned unit.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Assist the Director of Nursing in providing efficient and effective nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
- Operational Oversight: Lead, guide, and manage the overall operations and coordination of nursing and patient care within the assigned unit.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure patient care is delivered in line with accepted standards of practice, as well as state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Human Resources Management: Oversee human resources functions within the unit, including reducing overtime and agency use, recruiting and orienting new staff, evaluating staff performance, and implementing disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Nursing Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current RN licensure with the State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
- Experience: BSN with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, or an Associate Degree with at least 3 years of nursing experience.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of one year of proven leadership experience (e.g., head nurse, supervisor).
- Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing environment.
