Position Overview
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd shift / 2:30pm - 11:00pm
- The Industrial Coating Specialist will engage in various preparation processes for painting.
- Key responsibilities include the meticulous masking and taping of products before the finishing stage.
- This role is designed to cultivate the necessary skills to evolve into a proficient manufacturing painter.
- Tasks involve applying tape and protective materials to parts that require exclusion from paint.
- De-masking involves the careful removal of tape from painted components.
- Placement of plugs in metal part openings to avert paint infiltration.
- Sanding of metal surfaces to eliminate imperfections.
- Learning and applying powder and/or liquid painting techniques under guidance.
- Conducting quality inspections on prepared products.
- Maintaining an inventory of various masking supplies (tape, protective paper, etc.).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Capability to interpret specific instructions related to product mixtures.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Competence in following detailed instructions.
- Willingness to work with chemicals and sanding materials.
