About the Role

This is a $60,000 - $70,000 per year position, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic healthcare environment. As an LPN, you will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job Description
  1. Assist in patient assessment, implementing and evaluating care plans, and documenting patient information according to standard procedure.
  2. Administer medications, perform treatment therapies, and operate equipment as needed, adhering to policy and procedure.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality and continuity of care, completing hospital admission and Emergency Room transfer processes as required.
  4. Maintain a safe environment, complying with UMass Memorial Health Care's Infection Control Policies.
Requirements
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Completion of an accredited school of practical nursing program.
  • Ability to take direction from patients and providers, adjust equipment, observe, and describe patient observations.
