Travel Nurse RN Position at University of Virginia Health System

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Virginia Health System. This is a 13-week contract position with a variety of shift options available.
Certification Requirements- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification is required and must be verified within 30 days of start.
- AHA, Apex, or AA CME for NIH Stroke Certification is accepted.
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced inpatient oncology setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in hematology and oncology.
The Inpatient Oncology unit is a 28-bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit with a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU). The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, and the unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Requirements- ONS certification is required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred but not required.
- VA license is accepted, and pending licenses are considered.
Nights shift schedule with offers of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and holiday commitment is required.
Additional Details- Proof of I9 or Attestation is required.
- Government-issued photo ID is required and must be carried on person during hours of service.
