Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our Sigma Healthcare team in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operative suite for surgery by checking and gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments.
  • Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and surgical draping according to surgeon's protocol.
  • Ensure that surgical asepsis is maintained in the handling of instruments, sponges, sutures, drains, needles, and dressings.
  • Assist in the turnover of the O.R. suites between cases, disposing of trash and linens, and cleaning of equipment and environmental surfaces, as required.
  • Prepare procedure room for use the following day by bringing in equipment, setting up, and reporting to supervisor items that are needed and not available.
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technician.
  • At least 2 years of surgical tech Cardiovascular experience.
  • Current BLS.
