Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Providence Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate X-ray equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist healthcare providers by producing accurate and detailed images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans.
  • Ensure that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards.
  • Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
  • Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history.

Requirements:

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Appropriate national certifications in two modalities.
  • Current BCLS accredited by the AHA.
  • Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program (accredited by JRCERT preferred).
  • Proficient computer skills.
