Key Responsibilities

As a skilled Truck Technician at Rechtien International Trucks, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing medium to heavy duty trucks in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform repairs efficiently and accurately, adhering to dealership and factory guidelines.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Road test vehicles when required, ensuring a safe and reliable driving experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete major repairs and achieve team goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA guidelines.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, ensuring each job is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the duties of a technician, as per dealer requirements.
  • Must have a minimum of one year of technical experience in the medium-/heavy-duty truck industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service.
