About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team. As a respected and skilled technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other components
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and projects
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to log and research repairs
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
  • Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
