Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Food Presentation: Weighs and measures designated ingredients, and carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
  • Food Service: Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures, and cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Customer Service: Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment, and serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
  • Quality Control: Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures, and assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in a commercial kitchen and a valid food handler's certificate are preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
