Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and isolating faults within systems
  • Conducting regular volume backups
  • Monitoring system performance and performing necessary clean-up tasks
  • Providing user support and assistance
  • Understanding of both internal and external network interfaces

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in scripting using at least one administrative programming language. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining attention to detail is crucial.

Familiarity with system administration, tactical operations, network management, user account oversight, security operating system updates, and security audits is required. Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Compliance and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) is preferred. A Security+ Certification is mandatory.

A solid foundation in both Windows and Linux operating systems is necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in System Administration for Linux and Windows
  • Experience with security protocols on Windows and Linux servers
  • Capability to collaborate with third-party software solutions
  • Experience in supporting UNIX-based environments
  • Possession of Security+ certification
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in installing and assessing commercial off-the-shelf software products
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools for commercial software

This position requires a government security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
