Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Division, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement educational programs for residents, fellows, and medical students, promoting excellence in trauma and critical care education.
- Foster a culture of research and innovation, encouraging faculty and staff to pursue cutting-edge research projects and collaborations.
- Collaborate with institutional leadership to enhance and grow the MetroHealth trauma brand, promoting the Division's expertise and reputation regionally and nationally.
Requirements:
- Board certification in general surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Strong clinical research background and evidence of a national presence in the field.
- Eligibility to be hired at the Associate or Full Professor level at Case Western Reserve University.
