At MetroHealth Medical Center, we are seeking a talented Trauma Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, Burns, and Acute Care Surgery, you will provide high-quality care to trauma, emergency general surgery, and critically ill patients.
The ideal candidate will be board-certified/eligible in General Surgery with added qualifications in Surgical Critical Care and have a strong interest in teaching. An academic appointment to Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) commensurate with the candidate's academic record will be offered.
We are looking for a team player who is interested in developing their academic career. Our group prides itself on how well we work together to provide care to the nearly 3000 trauma patients admitted per year. The candidate would take approximately 4 to 6 calls per month covering acute care surgery (trauma, general surgery, and critical care).
MetroHealth Medical Center is a large teaching hospital that is part of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. The 700+ bed hospital is an ACS verified Level I adult trauma, Level II pediatric trauma, and Level I burn center with over 6000 trauma activations per year.
