Epic Travel Staffing is actively seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in the Emergency Department for an exciting opportunity.

Position Overview & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel RN - Emergency Room
Shift Details: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs/week
Requirements:
  • Active California RN License
  • Minimum of 3 years of ER experience
  • Skills in IV initiation, Telemetry, Phlebotomy, Conscious Sedation, and EKG
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • CPI Certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification
  • PALS Certification
  • Experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers preferred
  • TNCC Certification preferred
Additional Information:
  • Flexibility to float within various ER areas as needed
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • Local candidates are welcome
  • Facility does not accept MAB
Maximum of 3 days of RTO allowed.

• Must possess 3 years of ER experience
• First-time travelers are not eligible
• Emergency CA license is acceptable
• REQUIRED SKILLS: IV initiation, Telemetry, Phlebotomy, Conscious Sedation, EKG
• RN will float within the ER areas as required
• Level 1 Trauma experience is preferred
• PALS and CPI Blue Card from Crisis Prevention Institute must be available at the time of submission. Facility does not accept MAB.

• RTO must be included in the submission and cannot be modified after being sent for review
• Preference for no more than 7 days of RTO in a 13-week contract
• No RTO during the initial 2 weeks of the assignment
Must be fully vaccinated prior to the start date and able to provide documentation.
COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required + Booster - No Exemptions, Current Booster
Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - No Exemptions

Please note that all pay rates are estimates. Weekly gross pay is based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).

Epic Travel, formerly known as Emerald Staffing Group, Nursing Job ID #. Pay package is based on 12.0 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
