Epic Travel Staffing is actively seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Emergency Department for an exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel RN - Emergency Room
Shift Details: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs/week
Essential Qualifications:
  • Active California RN License
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Emergency Room
  • Skills in IV initiation, Telemetry, Phlebotomy, Conscious Sedation, and EKG
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification
  • PALS certification
  • Experience in Level 1 trauma centers preferred
  • TNCC certification preferred
Additional Information:
  • Flexibility to float within various ER areas, including ER holding, if necessary
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • Local candidates are welcome
  • Facility does not accept MAB
Manager allows a maximum of 3 days of requested time off (RTO).

• Must possess 3 years of ER experience
• First-time travelers are not eligible
• Emergency CA license is acceptable
• REQUIRED SKILLS: IV initiation, Telemetry, Phlebotomy, Conscious Sedation, EKG
• RN will float within ER areas, including ER holding, if necessary
• Level 1 trauma experience is preferred
• Must have PALS and CPI Blue Card from Crisis Prevention Institute at the time of submission. Facility does not accept MAB.

• RTO must be included in the submission and cannot be altered once sent for review
• Preferably no more than 7 days of RTO in a 13-week contract
• No RTO during the initial two weeks of the assignment
Must be fully vaccinated prior to the start date and able to provide documentation.
COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required + Booster - No Exemptions, Current Booster
Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - No Exemptions
