We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bakery Specialist to join our team at La Plaza Supermarket. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for preparing, producing, and baking a variety of Hispanic breads and pastries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of Hispanic breads and pastries using bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough rollers.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and products to meet customer demand and increase sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to promote our bakery products and increase customer engagement.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in baking and producing Hispanic bakery and pastry products.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred.
  • Ability to work varying shifts and schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
