Job Summary:

The Program Manager for Children's Services and Intensive Respite will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to person-centered principles in all aspects of service delivery. This includes intake, scheduling, admissions, and discharge processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provision of Services: Responsible for the provision of services for children and families, ensuring that services are implemented as described in Service plans/Staff Action Plan/Treatment Plan/etc.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, hospitals, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect each child's unique strengths, preferences, and goals.
  3. Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor to ensure services are implemented correctly, and develop safeguards for each child based on risk assessment and train all staff.
  4. Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise Children's Respite Specialists, monitor staff through observation and review of documentation, and facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff members.
  5. Community and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the child, family, program staff, clinicians, hospital staff, co-workers, and supervisor, and act as an advocate for the child/family as needed or requested.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all required documentation is completed with required elements and maintained per Agency procedures, and complete participant/family satisfaction per agency standard and analyze results.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a valid New York State driver license, be willing to visit children and families in their home setting, and be able to lift 50 pounds. A minimum of one year of experience working with children with I/DD or a Mental Health diagnosis is preferred.
