About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Setup and Support Specialist to join our team at Tria Restaurant. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all event spaces are set up to specifications and broken down and cleaned after events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Setup and Execution: Interpret event orders and diagrams to set up event rooms to contracted specifications, including setting tables, chairs, staging, linen, and skirting.
  • Facilities and Equipment Management: Thoroughly knowledgeable on the setup and operation of all facility equipment and ensure all items are returned to designated storage locations.
  • Audiovisual Support: Set and check all audiovisual equipment prior to guest arrival and secure all audiovisual equipment in the designated locked storage location.
  • Event Support and Communication: Maintain close communication with supervisors on all events, including supply needs and maintenance of all equipment.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and security of all banquet equipment, function rooms, storerooms, banquet support areas, and related areas within the department.
Requirements
  • Availability: Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, squat, and reach. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
