Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care to the cardiology patient population, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Bachelor's degree from a certified Nurse Practitioner accredited program is required.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the State of California is required.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Licensure is required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
- Valid American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) healthcare provider certification is required.
- Successful completion of SAMC Medical Staff credentialing process within sixty (60) days of hire is preferred.
- Previous experience working with the cardiology patient population is preferred.
- Strong time management skills and effective oral and written communication skills are required.
