Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Inspector II, you will be responsible for conducting a range of inspections, leveraging your skills and experience in the Electrical Industry. Your duties will include:
- Performing inspections on intricate cable and harness assemblies using both visual and mechanical methods.
- Documenting inspection results meticulously, including any deviations from engineering specifications.
- Conducting inspections on complex PCB assemblies with precision.
- Generating necessary inspection documentation that accurately reflects inspection outcomes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the PCB sector.
- Proficiency in interpreting assembly blueprints, bills of materials, and circuit cam documentation.
- Expertise in using inspection tools such as microscopes, magnifiers, calipers, and micrometers.
- A solid understanding of IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
- Knowledge of the First Article Inspection process.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and writing skills.
- An understanding of the inspector's critical role in achieving the company's quality objectives.
- Familiarity with inspection reporting and identifying non-conforming materials.
- A strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency without compromising quality.
- Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controls.
Work Environment:
Approximately 90% of the work will be conducted in a precision, light industrial production area, with the remainder in office and warehouse settings.
Physical Requirements:
While performing job duties, employees are regularly required to stand for extended periods, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds is essential.
