Benefits Specialist

At Innovative Benefit Planning, we're seeking a skilled Benefits Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for establishing and nurturing positive experiences between our company and clients. Your role will be pivotal in selling and managing a range of benefit solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Source and close new sales opportunities through lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, networking, and emails to achieve assigned quota.
- Understand customer needs and present benefits performance assessments to prospects.
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand database of prospects, contacts, and mailing lists.
- Attend relevant events in-house and with outside training to promote the potential to generate new business.
- Maintain personal networks and participate in professional organizational events.
- Revisit prospects that were not closed on the first appointment through relationship building.
- Maintain existing client relationships by working with AEs for client renewal, strategy, and plan performance meetings with clients.
- Expand and enhance selling techniques and practices to increase efficiency and results.
- Call existing and potential clients to secure attendance at seminars and workshops.
- Make follow-up calls to specific marketing campaigns.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in outside sales.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.
- Life and Health license to be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.
- Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties.
