Key Responsibilities

  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Meet all cleanliness and time requirement standards established for cleaning guestrooms and other areas of the hotel, including the lobby, breakfast area, pool, fitness center, stairways, hallways, elevators, and patio.
  • Guestroom Preparation: Clean, dust, and remove waste in all areas of guestrooms, bathrooms, and public areas, and replace and provide all linens as necessary in accordance with standards.
  • Supply Management: Replace or provide required supplies in guestrooms and public areas, and maintain an organized cart and stock it with linens and supplies in accordance with standards.

  • Reporting and Maintenance: Report room status and maintenance problems promptly, and perform basic maintenance skills, including plunging toilets, changing light bulbs, and unclogging drains.
  • Chemical Handling: Handle chemicals and cleaning supplies with care and in accordance with standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate commercial laundry and cleaning equipment, and perform all tasks and functions related to laundry and linen care.
  • Storage and Organization: Maintain appropriately stocked linen and storage rooms.
