Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination Preparation: Prepare patients for ultrasound exams, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  • Ultrasound Imaging: Use advanced sonographic equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Image Analysis: Review and analyze ultrasound images to identify any abnormalities or areas of concern.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Accurately document patient information, exam results, and any relevant findings in our electronic medical records system.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnosis.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Possess a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field and hold current ARDMS (OB/GYN) certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
