About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Piano Accompanist to join our Music Department at the Santa Monica Malibu School District. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality accompaniment for various musical performances and rehearsals, while also offering technical and clerical support to our Music Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide piano accompaniment for soloists, groups, and ensembles
  • Assist with music preparation, including sheet music organization and digital recording
  • Offer technical support for musical performances and rehearsals
  • Collaborate with music instructors and staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Music Department
Requirements
  • One year of experience as a piano accompanist for soloists or groups of vocalists
  • Valid California Driver License and ability to obtain transportation between job sites
  • Ability to work non-standard hours for rehearsals and performances
