Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.
  • Direct and supervise other assigned team members.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
  • Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment.
  • Be accountable for your performance and take initiative for your professional growth.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Current additional certifications as required by department.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
  • At least 6 months RN experience.
