Unit Summary:The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital sees over 60,000 patients per year and has 49 beds. Our team provides care for major and minor illnesses, including cardiac, stroke, and behavioral health. We also provide care for orthopedic injuries and minor trauma.
Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for assessing patient status, implementing clinical nursing interventions, and modifying symptoms. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:- Basic professional knowledge, equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college), with working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
- RN Diploma with relevant experience also accepted.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
Please note that as a condition of employment, all new hires are required to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 Vaccination Series prior to their Occupational Health pre-employment assessment, and scheduled to complete the Vaccine Series within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
