- Identify customer needs and make referrals through proactive sales/service efforts
- Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, cash management services, etc.
- Continually safeguard the bank's assets and security of the working environment while processing transactions accurately
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer
- Open, close, and maintain accounts
- Achieve sales and referral goals quarterly while providing excellent customer service
- Making outreach calls to customers and/or prospects
- Meet and greet public in a professional manner that reinforces Trustmark's service standards
- Manage, coach, and provide training for other Relationship Bankers and/or Tellers
- Process oversight and responsibility to review/approve various transactions
- Potential for cash shipment and vault management
- Potential for loan origination responsibilities and administration thereof
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to meet sales goals in a retail environment
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn internal technology systems
- Understanding of basic math concepts and principles
- Must pass appropriate assessment tests
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong and exceptional customer service and sales skills
- Ability to display professional appearance and mannerisms
- Experience in maintaining and balancing a cash drawer preferred
- Minimum twelve (12) months face-to-face customer service experience
- Minimum twelve (12) months sales experience
- Exceptional customer service and sales skills
- Four-year college education or equivalent work experience preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Working knowledge of the banking industry and its processes preferred
