Role Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Solar Installer, you will embark on your career in the dynamic clean energy sector. You will work closely with our skilled technicians, observing their techniques, gathering necessary tools and materials, and assisting with various tasks as directed. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing job plans to understand project specifics.
- Assisting in the mounting and installation of photovoltaic equipment and electrical components.
- Ensuring safety and precision during installations, whether on the ground, in residential settings, or on rooftops.
- Testing installations to confirm functionality and security before leaving the site.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in solar installation.
- Basic proficiency with hand tools.
- The physical capability to perform job functions, including outdoor work in varying weather conditions, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience in construction is a plus. Ideal candidates should be able to work both independently and collaboratively, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate flexibility and reliability. A willingness to learn and develop skills is essential for success in this entry-level position.
Work Schedule
This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
