Clinical Specialist

At Texas Tech University, we are seeking a Clinical Specialist to join our team. This role will provide professional nursing care in an assigned specialty or sub-specialty clinic.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate will have two to three years of experience working in a hospital, ambulatory clinic, or community-based setting. A current Registered Nursing license in the state of Texas is required. Preferred qualifications include electronic health records (EHR) experience, phlebotomy skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a variety of general and specialized nursing duties as part of a total health care team. You will work under usual clinic conditions, requiring a high degree of contact with patients, families, and other clinic personnel and outside professionals. You may supervise and instruct subordinate nursing personnel and assist in training new staff members.

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a Board of Nursing accredited program of professional nursing or scheduled to complete a program within 120 days.
- Current Registered Nursing license in the state of Texas or temporary permit from the Board of Nursing pending full licensure.
