Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomed Technician II to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Biomed Technician II, you will be responsible for performing performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, and repair of complex biomedical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, and repair of complex biomedical equipment
  • Inform leads of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, and customer concerns
  • Work with subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery
  • Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education
  • Assist with Service Operations Special Projects as assigned
Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • Associate's Degree in a related field or 2 Years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3 Years Related work experience (preferably in a hospital setting) with an Associate's degree or a BMET
  • Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
  • Completion of Network + Foundation Course 2 Years
  • IT-ILC - IT Infrastructure Library Certification 2 Years (preferred)
