Job Title: RN Nursing Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living. As a RN Nursing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in promoting, restoring, and maintaining residents' health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting their physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
  • Perform all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
  • Promote residents' independence by establishing care goals, teaching residents/family members to understand a resident's condition, medication, and self-care skills.
  • Monitor residents' clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and act on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Work alongside care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed.
  • Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
  • Develop and coordinate a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet residents' clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team.
  • Support residents' preferences, routines, and choices in residents' electronic medical record.
  • Ensure that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
  • Participate in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active RN license in Virginia.
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
  • Experience in caring for seniors or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office, internet, and web applications.
  • Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
