About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic X-Ray/CT Technologist Team Lead to join our team at UNC Health Appalachian. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team of technologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the needs of each patient
  • Make decisions and take actions with patients and families in an ethical manner, practicing compassion and respect for the inherent dignity, worth, and unique attributes of each person
  • Effectively communicate with patients/families, visitors, colleagues, physicians, leadership, and volunteers
  • Lead and manage the team of technologists to achieve and maintain top decile results and outcomes for patient experience, quality, and patient safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited education program in radiologic sciences
  • 2 years of experience in CT as a CT technologist
  • Prior experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
  • Current registration as an R-CT required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required at the time of hire
