About the Role

As a Nursing Assistant at Rio at Mission Trails, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care to our elderly and handicapped residents. We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to join our team in this essential role.

Estimated Salary: $38,000 - $42,000 per year

About the Job

  • Personal Care and Support: You will be accountable for providing personal care and support to our residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to patient care policy guidelines.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: You will maintain a clean and safe environment by changing bed linen, ensuring appropriate grooming supplies are available, and performing routine tasks as assigned.
  • Patient Transportation: You will assist residents with ambulation and transfer, utilizing proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: You will accurately record resident vital signs, weights, measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information as assigned.

Requirements

  • Nursing Assistant Certification from the state
  • Ability to record information and perform technical procedures
  • Good communication skills and excellent self-discipline and patience
  • Genuine care for and interest in elderly and handicapped people
  • Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities
