Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a compliance program that aligns with industry regulations and best practices.
- Develop and update compliance policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Monitor changes in healthcare regulations and ensure our telehealth program's policies are updated accordingly.
- Oversee the telehealth program's adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
- Develop and conduct compliance training programs for staff.
- Investigate and respond to compliance issues and complaints.
- Maintain records of all compliance incidents and actions taken.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in healthcare administration, law, business, or a related field (Juris Doctor preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a compliance role within the healthcare industry, with at least 5 years as a Chief Compliance Officer in a Telehealth Services setting.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant laws.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
